Bitcoin - The Currency of the Internet

A community dedicated to Bitcoin, the currency of the Internet. Bitcoin is a distributed, worldwide, decentralized digital money. Bitcoins are issued and managed without any central authority whatsoever: there is no government, company, or bank in charge of Bitcoin. You might be interested in Bitcoin if you like cryptography, distributed peer-to-peer systems, or economics. A large percentage of Bitcoin enthusiasts are libertarians, though people of all political philosophies are welcome.

Bitcoin StackExchange answers FAQs by users, coders and engineers

Many of the recurring questions that are asked here on a daily basis already have excellent, community moderated answers at Bitcoin StackExchange.
All these questions, including advanced technical questions about the Core reference client (and all cryptocurrencies) are questioned and answered. Many Bitcoin users, as well as core-devs, provide answers to common and corner-case questions with community votes to indicate accuracy and quality.
Bitcoin is a dedicated discussion forum for all matters related to Bitcoin. Bitcoin StackExchange involves less discussion and is a platform for easily finding definitive answers to questions - whether you're asking a new question or browsing existing Q&As.
Unless you already have a StackExchange login, you'll have to register to post Q&As but you can browse it freely at https://bitcoin.stackexchange.com
Bitcoin StackExchange is a community resource and important knowledge repository. If you're interested in Bitcoin, you'll gain from the site because it allows for quick fact checking and randomly exposes you to a wide range of knowledge about Bitcoin and technological advances from the broad field of cryptocurrency.
I wanted to share this with Bitcoin users because, as technologists, we have this sub-reddit for news and discussion, as well as a StackExchange platform for easily searchable questions and answers. Some of the questions - and their answers - you will not even have imagined. Check it out.

Why does Bitcoin.StackExchange.com get so little love? How can we do better?

So, it would be my hope that anyone researching Bitcoin on the internet has at some point stumbled upon the Bitcoin Stack Exchange Site. If you haven't: it's a question/answer platform in the style of StackOverflow dedicated to cryptocurrencies.
I have been involved in Bitcoin.SE for about one and a half years, and for some time I have been wondering, why it gets comparably little participation: Although, nominally there are almost 14k users, this year so far 16 users have voted 10 or more times, and 4 users have performed 5 or more edits. Altogether, it feels that currently there are less than 100 people actively participating, around 300 have gained reputation this year at all, 40 users more than 25 rep. Frequently, I have read questions here and on /bitcoinbeginners that have been covered extensively on Bitcoin.SE, yet I've hardly ever seen Bitcoin.SE linked anywhere.
Obviously, I do have some theories of my own, but I'd love to get a different perspective on it.
Please tell me, what you think:
I don't have the most experience with reddit, so if this post infringes some sort of code of conduct, please make me aware.
Also, feel free to ask any questions about Bitcoin.SE you may have, I'll do my best to answer them.
Thank you for your time.
Edit: Formatting.
